In many of your assignments for this course, you are expected to record conversations with your peers at a distance. For this purpose you can use the combination of technologies that you prefer, as long as your recording is audible.
You don’t need any specialized hardware to record a phone call, Skype conversation, or any sort of other voice chat. All you need is the right software and a few minutes setting it up ahead of time.

If you don’t have any recording software installed, we recommend that you use the Audacity sound editor which is a free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is capable of exporting files into MP3. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.
To type Spanish characters such as á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, you need to use the US International keyboard, which comes with Windows.
